"Levels of art and love that I'll never achieve but I'll constantly seek"

As a father, brewer, and singer-songwriter, I've brought this mantra to life with my debut album. LEVELS represents the pinnacle of my musical journey with 13 standout tracks spanning three decades. This anthology includes a song I performed in my high school talent show and a recent composition from just two years ago.

Confined to our home in San Francisco's Outer Sunset during the pandemic, I embraced the chance to lay down these tracks in a makeshift studio. Channeling the rich baritones of my two greatest influences — Elvis Presley and my father, a cantor in a San Francisco church — I pushed myself to realize the full potential of each song. Recording vocals, guitars, and keyboards became my nightly ritual, undertaken in the quiet hours after my boys had gone to bed. 

To fill out the arrangements, I turned to a community of remote musicians around the world. From Berlin to Nashville, pedal steel to tabla, and Chamber Pop to Grunge, I brought together disparate musicians, ideas, and genres to realize my life's work.
